Happy Diwali!

       

This year we were lucky enough to be invited to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, with the Mistry family.  Ria, William and Oliver lit candles and placed them outside the front door. 

     

       

 Meeta painted our hands with henna which turned out to be a disaster for Sam.  We left him supervising Ria, William and Oliver whilst their henna was drying and the in charge of rinsing it and he managed to get it on his clothes and the sofa!  

    

      

                                 

All of the children sat and enjoyed an Indian meal together and then played whilst we enjoyed ours.
