We arrived in the UK at about 6pm on Satruday the 21 May and drove straight to Guildford to celebrate Dan's 30th birthday with the Smiths, Smiths, a Smith and Jarmski!
Despite not having slept much on the flight, champagne, a bbq and good company (my family and a few other animals!) kept us going and we went to bed at 11 thinking we'd have a good sleep.
Unfortunately, William and Oliver woke at 4am suffering from jet lag, fortunately Sam stayed up with them and watched Harlequins triumph in the European cup, so it wasn't all bad!! Somehow they managed to keep going until bed time! Over the course of the week they woke later and later and settled on around 7am as a good time!
During the first week back Sam was back in the Ford office at Dunton and nearly at his old desk! He had a good week catching up with friends (and doing some work!).
William, Oliver and I spent the week catching up with the Magee girls at Godstone Farm, the Rowland's in Guildford

and the NCT girls, children and new babies at the ever popular Tumbletown. It's hard to believe that in four years the numbers have nearly doubled!
